1. Who we are

quizloop ("we", "us") operates the quiz funnel builder at quizloop.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors of our website, to people who hold a quizloop account, and, to the extent described in section 3, to people who complete a quiz funnel built with the Service.

2. Data we collect from account holders

Account data: your name, email address, password and the agency or company you represent, provided when you register or update your profile.

Billing data: your plan, billing address and payment history. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.

Workspace content: the client websites you paste, the quiz funnels you generate and edit, brand assets such as logos and colors, and the team members you invite.

Usage data: log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and actions taken in the Service, used to keep the Service secure and to understand how it is used.

3. Data collected through quiz funnels

When a visitor completes a quiz funnel, the Service stores their answers, contact details and basic technical data (such as device type and the funnel variant shown) in the workspace the funnel belongs to. This data is collected on behalf of the account holder or their client, who decides why and how it is used. For this data we act as a processor and handle it only according to their instructions and this policy.

If you completed a quiz and want to access, correct or delete your data, contact the business whose quiz you completed. If you cannot reach them, email us and we will help.

4. How we use your data

We use account and workspace data to provide the Service: to generate and host quiz funnels, run A/B tests, store contacts, send lead notifications and give you support. We use billing data to charge your subscription and issue invoices. We use usage data to secure the Service, fix problems and improve it. We use your email address to send service messages such as new-lead notifications, billing receipts, product updates and important changes to the Service or these policies. Every product update email includes an unsubscribe link.

We send marketing emails only if you opt in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

5. Legal basis

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and billing), to pursue our legitimate interests (security, improvement and support), to comply with legal obligations (accounting and tax) and, for marketing, on the basis of your consent.

6. AI processing

To generate quiz funnels, the Service sends the client website content and settings you provide to third-party AI providers. Contact details collected from quiz visitors are not used to train AI models, by us or by our providers.

7. Who we share data with

We share data with service providers that help us run the Service: hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, email delivery, error monitoring, analytics and AI generation. They may only process data to provide their service to us and are bound by data processing agreements.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. We never sell personal data.

8. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside your country. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

9. Cookies

Our website and the Service use cookies that are necessary to keep you logged in and to keep the Service secure. Published quiz funnels use a cookie or local storage to remember which A/B test variant a visitor was shown, so results stay consistent. We use analytics to understand how the website and Service are used; where the law requires it, analytics cookies are set only with your consent.

10. Retention

We keep account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. After an account is closed we delete or anonymize its data within 90 days, except billing records, which we keep as long as accounting and tax law requires. Quiz visitor data is kept until the account holder or their client deletes it or their account is closed.

11. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords and regular backups. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your data we will inform you as the law requires.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email hey@quizloop.ai. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

13. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
